40 trees planted, including 4 street trees along Fountain Street. We also seeded columbine, meadow flowers, and did another trash sweep. Great work on a beautiful day!

Today we had two classes from Dobson at the park to plant naturalizing tulips and wild ginger. They did a great job wielding shovels, learning how to plant bulbs and ginger roots, touring the Pollinator Meadow, snacking and cleaning up. Thanks so much for the enthusiastic help! We hope you will all come back for a picnic when the flowers are blooming next Spring.
A huge Thank You to all of the volunteers (30 !) who came out last night for a 2 on Tuesday session with RMC at our park. Look at all that was accomplished.

As of last weekend we have a garden shed onsite for tools! It will be great to start purchasing our own tools for Turtle Park for all of us to use.

Saturday morning a crew of four installed stump seats at the park.

Here are a few photos of the small but mighty crew that came out on Tuesday evening to clear invasives, weed, and clean up at Turtle Park. A huge THANK YOU to everyone!

Check out our new Little Library, courtesy of Olivia at 5 to 9 books. She installed it today, complete with mums and a turtle step stool for younger kids to reach the shelves.

We have received support from many quarters: our volunteers, local businesses, grants, and community organizations. We wish to publicly acknowledge the generosity that has made and continues to make such a difference in our work.

Friends of Turtle Park & the Roxborough Manayunk Conservancy had a very productive work session Tuesday evening. A big thanks to all the volunteers who helped out!
