Hotter than…

We were the recipients of a grant from Xerces Foundation this spring. The grant gifted us with 550 plugs of native pollinator plants which we have put into three main beds plus a side garden along the Smick St fence. Neighbors gather on Wednesday evenings to weed and water our new gardens & the plants are doing very well!

Yesterday Class 301 from Dobson came to install the beautiful garden signs they created for the pollinator gardens at Turtle Park. Here they are at work.

Thank you to the RMC and the 35+ volunteers who came out on a cold Jan 15 to move mulch, cut down brush & vines and clean out trash!!! THANK YOU!

Stanley’s Hardware donated a bench to us with best wishes for our park! We placed it in the lower area next to the dog toys box… Go try it out!

We are the grateful recipients of a gifted bench for our park. It will need a bit of Rustoleum when the weather permits, but what a lovely donation.

Thanks to the 18 volunteers who showed up today to pick up trash, fill bags with brush & sticks, paint our new picnic table, bundle bigger sticks, haul logs, make a path, spread woodchips, fix the fence, hang solar lights, caulk up the jagged edges of the slide, AND MORE!
