Turtle gets some love

Thanks, Ann, for giving Turtle some much needed new paint–just in time to fit in with the colorful leaves on a beautiful fall day!

Getting started…

Our first work day was just a few neighbors sweeping, cleaning the floor joints, picking up trash and dog waste bags, and talking about what might happen in our not so little corner park. We started out tying a garbage bag to the fence for dog waste, but soon upgraded to the trash can pictured here.

Transformation begins…

We started scraping and priming the play structure. At our next work day we will get this job done and begin painting the swing set and benches. We also have an enthusiastic turtle beautifier who has volunteered to start that job as well.
